You may have seen posts or a news feature right after Hurricane Laura about the devastation experienced by so many families in the path of the storm. It was, after all, the strongest land-falling hurricane in Louisiana history since 1856! Then, just a few weeks later, Hurricane Delta hit in nearly the same location – flooding areas already heavily damaged.

However, the world keeps turning and there have been so many important things in the news since these storms that many people don’t realize just how slow the process is for insurance claims & approvals for rebuilding, etc. Many lost homes & jobs, and it will take a long time to get back to normal. We want to provide a ray of sunshine and some fun activity books for kids in the affected areas!
